Central London penthouse
Three flats comprising the sixth and part of the fifth of a block in Knighstbridge have been combined to form a single penthouse of 700 sq. m. with a set of principal reception spaces and a staircase of a scale and sophistication appropriate to the dwelling as a whole.
Within a long plan, constrained by communal services and structure, the central corridor was carefully articulated to address the varied rooms within a family home without monotony.
Joinery throughout is in American Black Walnut with details in patinated bronze, and walls are finished in lacquered and bronze-faced panels, to create a luxurious and timeless interior.
